Welcome Class of 2020!
Within these pages lurk the wit and wisdom of classes past. You may find that this handbook, albeit unofficial, may yet prove to be an indispensable reference throughout your first year of medical school. The med school faculty and administration are not responsible for anything on these pages.
Since the curriculum is always subject to change, you will have to extrapolate what you find applicable. This handbook includes information that we know from our own experiences, so there may be some stuff that just won’t “fit” with the way your classes will be taught.
This handbook was originally created by the toils and insight of countless others who sat in your very seats in years past. Previous editions were revised and painstakingly edited by Howard Hao, Pete Aoukar, and Larissa Stabinski from the class of 2003 and 2004, Meghan Fleming, ’04, Michael Yeh, ’05, Kimberly Truax, ’06, Scott Kutscher, ’07, and Ashley Abilmona, ‘08. Further revisions were made for the 2006 edition by Gus Branish, ’09 and the minor revisions for 2007 made by Ana George, ‘10. Class of 2011 revisions were completed by Megan Murray, Greg Sherman, and D-Rock Money. Class of 2017 revisions were done by Olivia Lucas. Class of 2018 revisions were done by Ben Zwierzchowski. Class of 2019 revisions were done by the whole darn committee. Special thanks go out to previous editors of this handbook for doing such a wonderful job updating the book each year.
